Sex and the City review
May. 31st, 2008 09:34 pmFirst of all, I found going to the cinema at 10:30 this morning a very weird experience - coming out of the cinema into daylight and discovering that it's lunchtime is quite freaky.
Anyway, as a fan of the Sex and the City TV show (I came late to the party and got the box sets when I was living on my own), the movie was everything I wanted it to be. As Empire said, it was basically an extended episode of the show - fun, funny, visually enjoyable, had sad bits and happy bits.
If you've never seen the TV show, it won't be interesting or make any sense, but if you're a fan, it's great to hang out with the characters again for two hours. Just don't go alone.
