Because I Said So review
Mar. 9th, 2008 03:37 pmAbout a year ago, a certain personage recommended a film to me - Because I Said So, which stars Diane Keaton as the mother of three daughters, in whose lives she liked to interfere. It didn't really appeal to me at the time, so I shoved it on my DVD rental list and forgot all about it. Sofa-bound as I currently am, it turned out to be exactly the right kind of film for a lazy Sunday afternoon.
The slapstick elements were just on the edge of my tolerance level, but were few and far between, and the rest of the film was sweet, funny, and reminded me just how much I really love my mum.
