cholten99 is unlikely to gain consciousness in the next three hours - so, why not?
1. How tall are you? 5 foot 6 (exactly average)
2. Have you ever smoked heroin? No
3. Do you own a gun? No
4. Rehab? No
5. Would you "do" someone in their parents bed? Ooh, one I have a vaguely interesting answer to - yay! I've had sex in *my* parents' bed, if that counts. I don't see a problem, as long as there's no possibility of them walking in.
6. What do you think of hot dogs? Love the sausages - too much bread, though, usually.
7. What's your favorite Christmas song? There are Christmas songs that aren't annoying as hell??? (Especially in October)
8. What do you prefer to drink in the morning? Robinsons' Apple and Blackcurrant
9. Do you do pushups? No - not sure I'd even be able to, but the weekly swimming is going quite well.
10. Have you ever done ecstasy? No
11. Are you vegan? No way - I was almost meat-free for three months once when I was living with a strict vegetarian who also happened to be an amazing cook, but I had to keep buying meat at lunchtimes in order to stave off the withdrawal.
12. Do you like painkillers? I was brought up to believe that they were evil and should never be taken under any circumstances, but I've relaxed a bit about them over the years since leaving home and I will take them now if I need to.
13. What is your secret weapon to lure in the opposite sex? Being happy always helps.
14. Do you own a knife? If you don't count kitchen ones, then no. I do have a meat cleaver, though.
15. Do you have A.D.D.? No, but I've taught kids who have (or tried to, at least)
16. Do you love the pain a tattoo brings? I have a pretty high pain threshold, but it doesn't really appeal, no.
17. What is in your CD player? I'm in mourning for my CD player - but the last thing I tried to play in it before finally accepting its demise was Ocean Colour Scene.
20. Current Worry? That I'll never find a job I don't hate.
21. Current Hate? My job - are we sensing a trend?
22. Favorite Place To Be? The park outside the RSC theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon
23. Least Favorite Place? Trying to get off the Silverlink at Highbury & Islington at 6:30pm.
24. Where Would You Like To Go? Back to Canada (but only for a visit)
25. What do you wear when you go to sleep? Leggings and t-shirt in summer, pyjamas, jumper and woolly socks in winter.
26. What were you doing 12AM last night? Watching the last episode of Season 3 of Six Feet Under withcholten99 - only two more seasons to go!
27. What do you think you'll be doing in 10 years? Well, if you'd asked me that 6 years ago, I would have said married and being a teacher in Bournemouth (I'm currently with somebody else and working in Market Research in London), so I don't answer that question any more.
28. Do you burn or tan? Sunshine never touches my bare skin if I can help it, so neither.
29. Last thing you ate? Chocolate muffin.
30. If you could be a pirate... I'd stay on shore and look after the loot for the other pirates while they went out to get more.
31. Last time and place you had an alcoholic drink? I was going to say the leaving do of my line manager six months ago, but actually I did have one glass of wine in Greece in September.
32. What songs do you sing in the shower? Magical Trevor
33. What did you fear was going to get you at night as a child? So many different things that it's impossible to remember them all.
34. What's in your pockets right now? I'm not sure I own anything that has pockets.
35. What's on your bedroom walls? A framed painting of a unicorn.

37. Best bed sheets you had as a child? I had awful ones with flowers on all throughout my childhood - when I finally got to buy my own (purple) ones for university, it was like a revelation.
38. Do you like your teeth? More than I used to - and now I even like the moulds I had taken when I was eleven because they're funny.
39. Worst injury you've ever had? I'm like Bruce Willis in Unbreakable - never had a broken bone, never really been ill - weirdly, it makes me utterly paranoid rather than over-confident.
40. What are your dreams like? Usually very realistic, which makes waking up quite confusing sometimes.
41. How many TVs do you have in your house? One - but I'm currently negotiating with the TV License people to determine if I still need a license.
42. Who is the loudest friend? That would be Kat - I'm by far the loudest of my group of friends from uni, and Kat's louder than me! :o)
48. Who is the silent friend? My wonderful friend Ben, who is training to be a Catholic priest, and whom I don't see nearly enough.
49. What song do you want played at your wedding? I've never thought about a wedding so I don't know.
50. What song do you want played at your funeral? Whatever the people there would like to hear - I'm not exactly going to be able to enjoy it, am I?

This was very popular last summer just before I went to Romania for a friend's wedding. A few of us took a trip round the country in a clapped-out van beforehand, and we called the van Trevor. Lindsay and I sang the song constantly for ten days and I've never got sick of it. I even used it in my driving test to calm me down when approaching big roundabouts.
