alobearI didn't think a Marvel movie was going to make me cry today...
I didn't actually think I'd be watching a Marvel movie at all today. I've become very much less investing in the Marvel universe over the last few years and didn't have any interest in going to see Thunderbolts.
But Dave suggested a Sunday afternoon showing and I wanted a walk, and I also wanted to spend the afternoon with him.
And it was really good! Solidly entertaining all the way through and surprisingly thoughtful and heartwarming.
Florence Pugh, in particular, was really excellent as Yelena, as was Lewis Pullman as Bob.
Really great cinematic outing.
Just when you think you're out, they pull you back in...
The trailer for the new Mission: Impossible movie also looked really good, which was annoying because the last one was awful and I hadn't intended to watch the new one...
