Our local station's free book exchange provided me with One Hundred Names by Cecilia Ahern - and I really enjoyed it!

It follows Kitty as she takes on a story for a magazine after her friend, the editor, dies - with only a list of one hundred names to go on. I loved the premise and that's largely what kept me reading, since the book opens with the editor, Constance, giving a massive speech about all the themes of the book, and then continues with Kitty's best friend bluntly pointing out to her what a terrible person she is...

And she is pretty terrible... But she does learn some things by the end - it's just a bit of a struggle sticking with her to that point!

Everyone else in the book is awesome, though - and I loved how all the disparate characters come together and how their stories develop over the course of the book. I worked out Constance's original idea for the story well before the end, and it was all a bit too neat and coincidental in places - but I don't think either of those things really mattered.

Lots of fun and very heartwarming!
