Thirteen Days review

If somebody had told me ten years ago that, one day, I would willingly watch, enjoy, and recommend to other people films or TV shows about politics, I would have said they were mad.
But last month, I put Thirteen Days on my DVD rental list, because I remembered finding it interesting when it came out and I thought Dave might like it, as well as wanting to watch it again myself.
It's all about the Cuban missile crisis, from the point of view of JFK and it's really rather good. It's perhaps a trifle overlong (what do you expect from a Kevin Costner movie) and it's not exactly full of wild excitement, but it's interesting and well put together, and portrays the tension of the situation very well.
