alobearPositive mental attitude firmly in place, I made my way to the stable this morning determined to have a better lesson than last week.
I was on Molly, who will spend most of the lesson going backwards if your PMA is not in full force, but is fabulous when she's going forwards. We had two brief incidents of dead stop followed by backwards motion in the first half of the lesson, followed by two perfect canter transitions in the second half of the lesson. So, all in all, I think I came out even.
Most people don't like riding Molly because she can be a royal pain when she's in a mood. But there are certain tactics that work to get her going and she's an absolute dream once her ears go forward.

However, I can't be too sorry, since I wrote over 8000 words and finished the first draft of something I've been writing on and off for over four years! It was quite an amazing afternoon!
