I like having a stock of things to watch for whenever I'm on my own in the flat and feel like just sitting around on the sofa (this happens a lot as I'm very lazy).

My current run of watching the orginal CSI is coming to an end as I've caught up with the DVD releases.

So, now I need something to replace it and I'd like some recommendations.

My criteria are as follows:
At least two seasons already completed, preferably more.
Episodic rather than arc plot so it's not too annoying when I run out.
Nothing too emotionally involving or scary.

However, having said that, I'm open to suggestion. Answers on a comments card!

I believe I've recommended Oz before. It's set in a high-security American prison, has story arcs across multiple series and, I believe, only series 1 is currently available in the UK. So it seems ideal.

I presume all the medical stuff is out as well (ER would keep you busy for a very long time), so about the only thing I can think of is Sports Night. There may be only one series, but it's by Aaron Sorkin, you'll recognise quite a few of the actors, and while obviously sport does get mentioned occasionally, it's always much more about the various friendships and relationships among the characters.

Ooh, they both sound good! I shall check them out. I actually thought of Profiler, which will probably go on the list first, but I've now got quite a few as back ups.

Thanks!
