alobearO Human Star is a three-part comic by Blue Delliquanti, largely following the story of Alistair Sterling, a robotics engineer who dies and is resurrected from a copy of his memories into a synthetic body.
It's about identity, death, the development of AI, all wrapped up in a very affecting love story and the inner struggles of the three main characters - Al, his partner (in both business and personal life) Brendan, and a synthetic teenage girl, also created from a version of Al's memories.
I really enjoyed this - it has some interesting things to say and is very successfully emotive in all the right ways.
