Bedlam's Edge review

alobearBedlam's Edge is a collection of short stories, edited by Mercedes Lackey and all set in a similar world to one of her series. It's basically modern day American where the Sidhe are real and meddle in human affairs. All the stories in the collection are essentially wish-fulfillment tales - protagonist's life is sucky, elves come and magically fix things.
But hey, I *like* stories like that, on occasion, and they're all well-written. Perhaps not the most original plots in the world, but good for light entertainment on the train, and also good for training my brain to stop skimming and actually read things properly. I've been doing quite a lot of skimming lately, so some short stories were just what I needed to get back on track with my reading.
