Magic Mike's Last Dance

I finally got around to watching the third Magic Mike movie - though I was a little apprehensive after reading bad reviews...
But I am not ashamed to admit I really enjoyed it! It was a shame the rest of the gang weren't really in it, and the 'let's put on a show' trope is sooooooo old now - but it's a trope I enjoy and it worked for this story quite well.
All the dancing was awesome, as you would expect; Channing Tatum is still ridiculously appealing; I liked the relationship between Mike and Max; and the daughter and the butler were both fantastic.
One thing I thought was a bit silly - at one point, Salma Hayek's character said something along the lines of, "Let's shake up with stuffy town [London] - they've never seen anything like this show we're going to produce." But Magic Mike Live has been running in London since November 2018... And I'm pretty sure the Chippendales came to London in the 80s...
That aside, though, this was really fun. Not quite as fun as the second Magic Mike movie, but a lot more fun than the first one. An entertaining end to the trilogy, in my view!
