Patience and Esther: An Edwardian Romance by SW Searle is a very sweet graphic novel about two female servants in an Edwardian household who fall in love and have a fair amount of very explicit sex (I really should not have been reading this on the train...).
I loved the diversity of ethnicity and body types across the characters, I loved how adorable both young women were in handling the relationship, I loved the exploration of classism and racism in women's suffrage, and I loved the way the protagonists eventually fought for some kind of independence in their lives.
A great read overall.
