Happy City

Happy City is a fun little game, where you collect money and buy buildings to add to your city. Buildings provide income, population or happiness (or any combination of the three). Income obviously allows you to buy more expensive buildings, while points are scored at the end of the game by multiplying population by happiness. There are various complications based on combinations of buildings purchased, special end-game-scoring buildings and limited supplies of apartments. It was simple enough to learn quickly while drinking wine, but complex enough to provide a certain amount of challenge - a good result! Plus, there was a three-way tie, decided by the tie breaker of one coin - so it was very close!
