Marching Order
Feb. 4th, 2022 08:41 amThis is a mobile app game where you are given a line of animals, playing different instruments (or carrying a flag or waving pompoms) in a marching band, all of whom have different preferences (stand directly behind the cymbals, be somewhere in front of the panda, not be right next to a fanged animal, etc).
The game is very simple - you have to move the animals around in line, until you think they're all happy, then hit March! and see if it works.
In the easy version, you can take as long as you like, but you get bonus points for completing the level in the fewest possible moves. In the hard version, you have to beat the clock. I enjoyed the easy version - but it's the kind of game where you have to just keep playing until you fail, and all progress is lost if you quit early, so you can't take a break and then carry on later, which is a shame.
On my first try, I completed 20 levels, only missing the bonus points once, but didn't want to carry on, so quit before I failed. It was really fun - just a shame you can't save your progress.
