Beautiful present

alobearA very good friend sent me a copy of The Boy, The Mole, The Fox and The Horse by Charlie Mackesy and I read it in one sitting (I am sure I will read it over and over again).
This book is gorgeous - and all the sentiments expressed in it are really wonderful. Everyone should read this book and take all its lessons to heart.
It's also really funny - the mole is hilarious throughout - and the ongoing joke about his cake obsession is awesome (I also relate).
Absolutely lovely - very highly recommended. A beautiful object containing beautiful messages about how important it is to be kind to ourselves and each other.
