The only reason I even heard of Alexander X by Edward Savio is because the audiobook is read by Wil Wheaton, who is one of my all-time favourite narrators. The book is about Alexander, an 'eternal' who ages 100 times slower than most people, and so appears to be 15 years old when he has actually been alive 1500 years. It follows him as he discovers a plot against humanity by one of the other 'eternals' and tries to stop it, along with two of his high school friends, who are actual teenagers.
It was quite fun, though a lot of things about it didn't make much sense (just because he's lived a really long time doesn't mean he would randomly be around for all the most famous events in history and have personal relationships with tons of famous people...), and there were several very long flashbacks to other periods in history that really delayed the plot. But I liked the character and there were some interesting perspectives on how being alive that long would affect people.
