The Good, The Bad and the Undead
Dec. 9th, 2006 04:36 pmThe first Kim Harrison book, Dead Witch Walking, was fun - good characters, an interesting plot, a nice antidote to the plot-free, gratuitous mess of the last couple of Anita Blake books I read.
Then I started book 2 - 100 pages in and the vampire porn was in full swing, swamping the poor excuse for a plot. It's really annoying, because the set up in book 1 was so good, and I was hoping she'd resist the temptation to descend into vampire porn, but apparently the pull was too strong.
Hey ho!
