I went into The Simon and Garfunkel Story not knowing at all what to expect.
What I got was a kind of narrated gig, whereby the two main performers did a potted history of Simon & Garfunkel's career, interspersing tidbits of information with songs from the appropriate period.
The two main singers were very accurate both visually and in their singing. I particularly liked the quick costume changes to reflect what Simon & Garfunkel would have been wearing at the relevant times, as well as Kingsley Judd's stage presence, which I believe reflected how Art Garfunkel would have moved and stood on stage.
The songs were great, the singing was great, the backing musicians were great - overall, it was a great show! I might have preferred a bit more story along the way, but I really enjoyed it.
