This film did exactly what I wanted it to do last night - it distracted my brain with ridiculous spectacle for two hours - and that's about it.
It had some cool stunts, some exciting action, some amusing banter, but made very little sense. I have to admit (rather embarrassingly) that I was really confused for most of it, because I thought two of the characters were actually the same person. It didn't help that various aspects were internally inconsistent.
But still - it was mostly fun.
The one thing I was actually impressed by was the use of sound. There were several scenes where there was no music, and there were several other scenes where the sound effects were absent and there was only music. And that was quite effective.
It also didn't take itself seriously in the slightest, which is always a good approach with films like this.
