I was actually more excited than I had anticipated by the time the film actually started - and, overall, I really enjoyed it. There are many individual moments that are awesome, hilarious, or both. I liked the new characters for the most part, and it was wonderful to see so many old ones. I had nostalgia overload at a few key points, and it made me react out loud more than any film in a long time.
Certain aspects made no sense whatsoever, and much of the plot seemed to have been stolen from Episode IV - but disengage your logic circuits and forget you've ever seen A New Hope, and you'll have a blast..
