Mystery and Debunking
Oct. 26th, 2015 08:40 pmTuesday saw us trying to solve a murder with A Door in a Wall. There was much running around central London, attempting to solve clues and collect information. We only managed to get to the end of four out of the six clue trails, which didn't leave us with enough data to actually solve the murder, which was a shame, but what we did manage to do was a lot of fun, and I would definitely do one of these again.
On Friday, we went to see Mitch Benn at the Bloomsbury Studio, where he did a mix of stand-up and comedy songs, all around the theme of scepticism. It was a really good show - very funny, knew its audience, got quite close to the line a couple of times but didn't cross it. I'm a very big fan of Mitch Benn in general, so it was great to see him live again, and in an intimate venue. He said at the beginning of the show that he was offered one night in the big upstairs room or two nights in the small downstairs room, and was very glad he chose the latter, since the upstairs theatre was closed!
