Locke & Key

Volumes 2-5 were just as good as volume 1 - I burned through them really quickly (downside to graphic stuff - it doesn't last long enough!) and thoroughly enjoyed them. The story is pretty dark in places (okay, the whole thing), but not as visually unpleasant as I'd feared, and it's really very well written and drawn. The characters have a lot of depth, the emotion is very strong, and there are continual twists and turns that I never saw coming. I particularly loved the homage to Calvin & Hobbes at the start of volume 4 (though its conclusion was rather sad), and the twist at the end of volume 4 was especially shocking. Can't wait for more of this to become available!
