This is a graphic novel about a random guy who discovers he can turn into a weird and wonderful range of superheroes by dialling "hero" in a particular phone booth. Considering it's basically China Mieville's brain in pictures, it's suitably bonkers throughout and absolute genius in places. Captain Lachrymose is my favourite of the super identities, but there are plenty to choose from. Highly entertaining.
