alobearJust watched The Lorax, and it wasn't that great.
Rather than the protagonist actually going on a quest and having an adventure, he spent most of the film hanging around some weird guy's front yard, listening to him explain how he used to be a complete arse and chopped down all the trees.
The bears were briefly quite cute, but the whole thing never really took off, and a lot of it was very twee or rather preachy.
Plus, I object to the fact that the bad guy was called Aloysius.
