Leaving Lyndow

A few years ago, Dave and I played through Eastshade together and absolutely loved it - beautiful graphics, a lovely story, some great interactions, very pleasing gameplay and mechanics - really great game.

Leaving Lyndow is its predecessor and we played it the other night. It was wonderful to revisit the world of Eastshade - the landscapes were just as beautiful as we remembered and it was all very relaxing. I enjoyed the story of Clara getting ready to leave on a scientific expedition, but it was a shame not to be able to wander round the world freely. It was also super, super short, which was a little disappointing.

We definitely played them the wrong way round - this would have made for an excellent teaser for the much larger and more involved game (as it was intended to be) - but it was still nice to play in the world again and remember how much fun we had with Eastshade.
