Months ago, Dave bought tickets for us to go and see one of our joint favourite bands, playing in Brixton last night. We saw them live earlier in the year, and I've listened to their albums countless times since then, so I was very excited about getting to see them again.
For various reasons, though, we weren't sure until quite late yesterday afternoon whether or not we were going to be able to go - and, throughout the day, I swung back and forth a bit about whether or not I even *wanted* to go.
But we went, and it was awesome, and it totally broke me out of a bit of a slump, and I loved it, even though I hurt a lot from standing up for so long.
The band is Walk Off The Earth - I love their music, their videos are great fun, and they have so much energy on stage that it's impossible not to get sucked into the show and have a blast. I'm really glad we went, and I even still managed to go running this morning, despite my knees being a bit sore!
