Roscoe's Leap review

I got Roscoe's Leap by Gillian Cross from BookMooch because it's always best to order more than one book from someone (makes the points more worthwhile) and it was the best "second choice" book I could find in that person's inventory.
It turned out to be a fairly standard children's thriller, where the big reveal was actually much less extreme that I had expected. I saw the main twist coming a mile off, but it was reasonably well written with engaging characters and enough mystery to keep me reading, so not all bad.
