Four Lions review
May. 13th, 2010 09:21 amLast night marked only the second time I have ever walked out of a cinema part way through a film. I wanted to leave about 15 minutes in to Four Lions, but it took me another half an hour to build up the courage to disturb the rest of my row (pathetic, eh?).
The rest of the audience seemed to be really enjoying it, but people being moronically stupid just isn't funny to me. Things happened on screen, other people laughed, I could see how it was meant to be funny, but my humour circuits didn't fire.
Judging from Dave's summary of the rest of the film, I was definitely right to leave when I did.
However, that's not to say it's a bad film - it's just me.
