alobearThis week's rental DVD was Smart People. I watched it yesterday afternoon, and wasn't going to do a review because I couldn't really think of anything to write about it. However, I realised this would skew my statistics, so...
Suffice it to say, Smart People is a bit of a non-entity. Nothing really happens, it doesn't seem to make any kind of point about anything, and none of the characters are likeable or dislikeable enough to make a real impression. I mostly made it through to the end because I lacked the energy to reach over for the DVD remote to switch it off, which goes to show just how compelling it really was...
Not recommended.
