The second in the Innkeeper Chronicles by Ilona Andrews is Sweep In Peace, in which Dina has to host a peace summit at her inn. The Office of Arbitration sends a party of delegates to help run proceedings, but Dina has to work hard to meet the needs of her volatile guests - three houses of vampires, a warrior species called The Hope-Crushing Horde, and the fox-like merchant clan caught in the middle of their war.

Dina is a very engaging host (both as first-person protagonist and innkeeper), made all the more so by the wonderful narrator of the audiobook.

She has to deal with a lot in this book, but does so with confidence and aplomb.

I loved all the inter-relationships, especially the inn itself and Dina's various pets, as well as the new chef and the permanent guest, Caldenia.

This was a fun book to listen to, and I'll definitely be carrying on with the series.
