I have read Little Brother by Cory Doctorow before, but didn't remember much of the story. A friend lent it to me recently because he wanted to talk to me about it, so I thought it would be a good book to do for the podcast. It's a reasonably compelling and rather scary portrayal of security theatre gone out of control. The teenage-boy-ness of it put me off a bit in places and in other places it was more of a lesson than a story. Its messages are put across very bluntly, but they are messages I think are important.
