alobearWe went to see Oppenheimer at the theatre on Friday night. It was weird, and complex, and intellectual, and contained a lot of science and ethical conundrums - and musical numbers! It was challenging - and very long.
Then, this afternoon, I went to see John Wick at the cinema. It had a one-note plot, incredibly thinly drawn characters, a massive body count - and it was a thing of beauty. It didn't take itself too seriously, but it was expertly put together, and I enjoyed it tremendously.
