Trekking the World
Sep. 10th, 2021 08:50 amThis week, some friends introduced us to Trekking the World, a game that involves travelling across a world map, picking up different types of souvenirs and collecting the right sets of cards to be able to visit famous landmarks.
There are points for completing the landmarks, points for having the most of a certain type of souvenir, and points for taking the last souvenir from a continent. So, there are quite a few things to keep track of, and it's also very possible for other players to scupper your plans by getting in your way or taking the things you've been building towards.
So, definitely some frustration involved! But the mechanics are interesting, the map is colourful, it's fun to plan out your routes and collections - so, overall, I enjoyed it and would happily play again.
