Nope: Horror Quarterly

Nope is an anthology of horror stories from TL;DR Press. I am on the editing team for the next edition, so I thought I should read the first one to get a sense of the kind of thing they are looking for. Horror isn't normally my genre, either for writing or for reading, but I really enjoyed this eclectic mix of stories. There were ghosts and zombies and parasites and possessions and cults - but all of the stories had an unusual or unexpected aspect that elevated them from the most common tropes of the genre.
