Sissy Lea

Who knew there was a drag scene in Enfield? Well, Juliet and I went to Sissy Lea's cabaret show at the Dugdale Theatre last night and experienced it first hand. Sissy hosted, did a bit of stand-up and sang, but there were three other queens and two backup dancers, who did lip sync numbers as well. I'll admit it was a bit patchy, and a bit rough around the edges, but one of the queens in particular was phenomenal and it was tremendous fun overall. We ended up dancing on stage with the rest of the audience for the final number, and laughed and clapped all the way through. So, snaps to Sissy for a great night out.
