Burlesque!

Simon and I have been going to Burlesque Idol on and off for quite a while now, and we always enjoy it.  So, when Katie and Dave came to London and wanted to go to the burlesque show, I thought it might be time to try out House of Burlesque's professional side.  We went to House of Burlesque: Straight Up at London Wonderground on Thursday night and they didn't disappoint.  Glowing hula-hoops, circus acrobatics, skull-faced pirate wenches, a male performer who put his clothes on instead of taking them off, puppets, alcohol, and lots of opportunities to appreciate the female form.  Miss Tempest Rose herself even recognised us and gave us a wave.
