June stats - 2013
Jun. 29th, 2013 09:56 amI'm going on holiday for a few days tomorrow, so I thought I'd do the stats a day or two early, rather than several days late:
Books:
Positive – 15 (65%)
Negative – 8 (35%)
Film & TV:
Positive – 16 (80%)
Negative – 4 (20%)
Live Entertainment/Outings:
Positive – 7 (100%)
Negative – 0 (0%)
Audiobooks:
Positive – 14 (100%)
Negative – 0 (0%)
Games:
Positive – 4 (100%)
Negative – 0 (0%)
Totals for first half of 2013:
Positive – 55 (82%)
Negative – 12 (18%)
So, overwhelmingly positive yet again - I have a great life! Still low on books, though - I blame fanfiction and knitting.
Also, these stats include three things I haven't actually reviewed:
The Penelopiad by Margaret Atwood - last time's family book club book, which I have to say I didn't like all that much, though the discussion about it was really interesting.
The Truth Machine by James L Halperin - next time's family book club book, which is good overall, though it does have some flaws - I'm really looking forward to the discussion of this one.
Mage Knight - a board game I bought last weekend, at the suggestion of prunesquallormd - it took me three hours to read the rules, set it up and play one round (out of three) of the introductory scenario last night, and early signs are good. It's pretty complicated, but with many familiar elements from other games, so getting the hang of it isn't as bad as I'd feared. It's not quite as much fun as I'd hoped, though (by the guy who designed Dungeon Lords), but I think it would be improved no end by actually playing with other people, rather than on my own. Roll on ManorCon!
