I bought A Good Horse Is Never A Bad Colour by Mark Rashid because I saw someone reading it on the train and I thought it looked interesting.  It actually wasn't.  It's not a *bad* book, it's just very similar to lots of other books I've read - anecdotes of horses the author has rescued and rehabilitated.  Not only is it the kind of book where largely "if you've read one, you've read them all", but the anecdotes within the book itself were very much of this type, which meant it got very tedious and repetitive very quickly.

It's a month early for the year's stats, but I realised I didn't do a third quarter update, so I'm going to do up to November instead:

Still an overwhelming positive response, which is good.  The most interesting thing about the stats at the moment is that they suggest I've been reading 9 books a month so far this year, which is a lot, even for me!  I think re-reading all the Harry Potter books and all the Williamsburg books will have helped there, since it doesn't take me long to read those, and they add up to 14 books.
