Dinklage awesomeness
Jun. 17th, 2012 06:21 pmAfter nearly ten years, and admittedly prompted by Dinklage awesomeness in Game of Thrones, I finally got around to watching The Station Agent today.
It's about as different from Game of Thrones as you could possibly get, but Peter Dinklage is just as awesome in it. It's one of those films where very little happens and there's not much in the way of dialogue, but somehow it's highly enjoyable and very satisfying. Silly in places, poignant in others, it's a tale of unlikely friendship and life just continuing on. It's a lovely little film - where questions of where the characters get their income are unimportant in the face of their endless days walking the right of way and bolstering each other through their trials. And Dinklage is awesome.
