Williamsburg Saga
Oct. 1st, 2011 06:19 pmFor some reason, after finishing Game of Thrones in mid-August, I just didn't start another book for ages. I was still reading a lot, but it was comics and magazines, rather than actual books.
Then, I picked the first Williamsburg book by Elswyth Thane off my shelf and read all seven in less than four weeks.
Still fabulous (to me, at least), and it's been long enough since I read them last (October 2007 according to LJ) that I'd forgotten most of the details.
Definitely comfort books, with a lot of personal history and nostalgia behind them - I lent the first one to nezumi_sama, so it will be very interesting to get an outside perspective on a book and I am incapable of being objective about!
