Iron Man 2 review

Interestingly, having not really like the first Iron Man film at all, I actually enjoyed the second one a lot more than Dave, who reached a verdict of "boring" because there wasn't enough action. There was quite enough of men in suits or robots hitting each other for me, and I thought most of the plot and character stuff was quite entertaining. Several aspects were patently ridiculous, of course, but overall it was rather fun.
My favourite utterly ridiculous moment was when Scarlett Johannsen's character was transforming herself from corporate kitten to kick-ass ninja operative. The low cut blouse and overly tight pencil skirt were sensibly exchanged for a leather jumpsuit with belt attachments - and then, as a final touch, she let her hair down so that it completely obscured her vision with its lustrous curls throughout the ensuing fight.
