You're in for a treat. I love that film. I've never seen "Casablanca" either - must retify that some day. I have watched some black and white films "Some Like It Hot", and "Twelve Angry Men" also sets in my DVD collection alongside "It's a Wonderful Life". In fairness though I got into "12 Angry Men" by being taken to see it on stage by Chlorten99 with Kevin Whateley playing the Henry Fonda role and doing a very good job - it was a good cast - Timothy West as the logical guy - a role he was perfect for, Peter Vaughon as the bigot and Tim Healy the ballgame guy - who struggled with the American accent but was still good.
"It's a Wonderful Life" - one thing to be said for flying is that it does motivate you to watch some really good films.
